Housemaid / House Keeper at Private Employer

Job Summary 

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented House Keeper to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment for elderly parents. The ideal candidate will handle daily household cleaning and upkeep while being respectful, patient, and attentive to the needs of older adults. 

Location

Eku, Delta State

Key Responsibilities 

• House Cleaning 
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors 
• Dust furniture, shelves, and household surfaces 
• Clean bathrooms and kitchens, including sinks, toilets, and countertops 

Bedmaking & Bedroom Care 

• Make and change beds regularly 
• Keep bedrooms clean, organized, and comfortable 

Living Space Maintenance 

• Maintain cleanliness and order in living rooms, dining areas, and common spaces 
• Ensure walkways are clear and safe for elderly residents 

Laundry 

• Wash, dry, fold, and properly store clothing, linens, and towels 
• Handle delicate items with care 

Dishwashing & Kitchen Upkeep 

• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware 
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized after meals 

Qualifications & Skills 

• Previous experience in house cleaning or domestic work required 
• Trustworthy, punctual, and respectful 
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions 
• Physically able to perform household cleaning tasks 
• Kind, patient, and comfortable working in a home with elderly individuals 

Work Environment 

• Private residence 
• Calm and respectful household setting focused on comfort and cleanliness 

Schedule & Compensation 

• Schedule: Full-time, includes weekend hours
• Compensation: N60,000 to N120,000 monthly + yearly bonus, based on qualifications and match.
