Hostel Parent at Bere-Mont Nigeria Limited

Responsibilties

• Responsible for maintaining high standards of behavior, discipline, and compliance with the school’s rules and regulations.
• Responsible for pastoral care of students in the hostel.
• Supervise students’ personal hygiene, e.g., bathing, brushing of teeth, cutting of fingernails, clothes (underwear, uniforms), polishing of shoes, etc.
• Act as Loco-Parentis for the boarders entrusted to their care.
• Ensure morning and night devotions are carried out appropriately.
• Check daily on their physical appearance health-wise and accompany any student with a health-related issue to the clinic.
• Being an active and visible presence, particularly at key times such as bedtimes, wake-up, and meals.
• Ensure that the students observe their prep in an orderly manner.

Qualifications

• A minimum of HND and OND certificates and at least 2 years experience in a similar role.
• The age bracket should be 35-45.
