HEMM Auto Electrician at Ascentech Services Limited

Responsibilities:

• Automotive electrical system maintenance and repair of equipment under the Mines Workshop covering earthmoving machinery and other associated machines in compliance with the necessary safety and environmental standards
• Equipment inspection and servicing for proactive maintenance and defect correction
• Diagnosis and repair of the electrical systems and electro-mechanical interface faults
• Overhaul and repair of components like starter motors, charging alternators, electrical and electronic panels
• PLC downloads using OEM software and trending of events and parameters for proactive repairs
• Defining repair scope and parts requirement forecasting
• Completion of job cards and other documentation
• Compliance to the safety and environmental standards associated with maintenance and repair of mobile machinery

Requirements:

• BSC/HND degree in engineering or related field.
• 3yrs+ experience on Heavy Equipment Machines Mentainance (HEMM) (e.g Loaders, drilling rigs, dump trucks, excavators, dozers)
• Automotive/Power Electrics
• work experience on surface mining equipment an added advantage.
