Job Description

• The ideal candidate would be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the company's large/heavy duty vehicles and ensure that trucks operate safely and efficiently by performing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic system repairs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy-ciuty trucks.
• Perform routine maintenance (Oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, etc.)
• Repair or replace faulty components (engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel systems, etc.)
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure proper functionality.
• Use diagnostic tools (OBD scanners, multimeters, etc.) to troubleshoot problems.
• Weld or fabricate parts when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records Of repairs and services performed.
• Communicate with drivers, fleet managers, and parts suppliers.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations.

Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in heavy-duty truck repair.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, and electrical systems.
• Technical school certification is a plus.
