    • Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps (QARANC) nurses have worked at the sharp end of military life throughout the last century. Nursing Officers, Nursing Soldiers, Healthcare Assistants and Student Nurses of the QARANC deliver high-quality, adaptable and dedicated nursing care wherever the Army needs it.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Work closely with registered Military Nurses and Clinicians
    • Assist in the delivery of clinical excellence to patients with varied medical needs
    • Be deployed worldwide on various operations or assisting with humanitarian aid
    • Explore fully funded Continuing Professional Development opportunities
    • Take on challenges, make new friends, try Adventurous Training and sport

    Entry requirements
    Age:

    • From 17 years & 6 months to 35 years & 6 months

    Qualifications:

    • GCSE Grade C/4, or Scottish National 5 grade C, and above in English Language; and
    • GCSE Grade G/1, Scottish National 4 Pass, and above (Functional Skills Level 1) in Maths. 

    Basic physical fitness assessment:

    • Mid Thigh Pull 50kg
    • Medicine Ball Throw 2.7m
    • MSFT (beep test) level 5.8.

    Pay & Benefits

    • You'll earn £25,200 a year from the start of your training, which will go up as you progress throughout your career.
