    Health Science Educator and Program Officer

    About the job

    • The Nanny Academy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Program Officer as well as a Health Science Educator to join our dynamic team. These roles are crucial in supporting the recruitment and enrolment of prospective students, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the admissions process.

    Responsibilities for Program Officer:

    • Manage and execute various aspects of the student admissions cycle, from application processing to enrollment confirmation.
    • Provide comprehensive information and guidance to prospective students and their families regarding admission requirements, programs, finances, and srudy life cycle 
    • Process and evaluate applications, including transcripts, test scores, and other supporting documents.
    • Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, such as college fairs, school visits, and school information sessions.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
    • Manage communication with prospective students through various channels, including email, phone, and CRM / LMS systems.
    • Maintain accurate records and databases related to student applications and admissions data.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies and marketing materials.
    • Collaborate with other departments within the institution to ensure a seamless admissions process.
    • Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in student admissions.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in student admissions, recruitment, or a related field preferred.
    • Strong understanding of the higher education landscape and the admissions process.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    • Proficiency in using CRM / LMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
    • Responsibilities for Health Science Educator 

    Curriculum Development & Delivery:

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive health science curriculum tailored to the needs of care professionals.
    • Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions on related topics 
    • Create and update training materials, including presentations, handouts, and practical exercises.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.

    Program Management:

    • Plan, coordinate, and execute program activities, including workshops, seminars, and community outreach initiatives.
    • Manage program logistics, including scheduling, venue coordination, and resource allocation.
    • Monitor program progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
    • Maintain accurate program records and prepare reports.
    • Communicate with students, and other stakeholders.
    • Assist with student recruitment.

    Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure all health science training follows current best practices and guidelines.
    • Evaluate the quality of the training delivered.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Public Health, Nursing, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred).
    • Proven experience in health education and training.
    • Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and program management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Certification in First aid, CPR, or other related health certifications is a plus.
    • Experience working with or training care professionals is an advantage.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
