The Head of Technology is responsible for overseeing the technological infrastructure and driving digital innovation within Sankore.
You will play a crucial role in aligning technology strategies with the business objectives of the firm, optimizing operational efficiency, and enabling growth through the effective use of technology solutions.
This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
You will report to the MD.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that supports the firm's overall business goals and objectives.
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and scalable technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and software systems.
Regularly assess infrastructure performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary upgrades or enhancements.
Lead the development, customization, and integration of software applications and solutions to support various business functions, such as investment analysis, portfolio management, risk assessment, and reporting.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure timely delivery of solutions
Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners to leverage their expertise and services as needed
Oversee the implementation of data management strategies, including data acquisition, storage, cleansing, and analytics
Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential technology-related risks and vulnerabilities
Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity measures and protocols to safeguard sensitive data, systems, and infrastructure
Foster effective communication and collaboration between technology teams and other business units within the firm
Minimum Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
8+ years of proven experience in technology leadership roles, preferably within the financial services industry or investment firms
Expertise in technology infrastructure management, software development, data management, and analytics
In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and regulatory compliance
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies aligned with business goals.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
