    Head Teacher

    We seek to employ a versatile individual who will lead our team towards innovation and an outstanding academic excellence.

    Requirements

    Candidate must be an experienced Primary teacher with strong Leadership skills. Other required skills include:

    The ideal candidate:

    • Must be be professionally qualified.
    • Must have a good knowledge of Early childhood education.
    • Must be a team player.
    • Must have a high level of integrity.
    • Must have a strong communication skill (as he/she will be expetected to give weekly reports).
    • Must be versatile with the use of IT tools and must have a sound knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
    • Must embrace continuous professional Development.
    • Be self motivated 
    • Must have an excellent time management skill alongside a great interpersonal skill.

    Job Description

    The ideal candidate will play the following roles alongside any other responsibility that might come up on the job:

    • You will be responsible for management, discipline and motivation of staff.
    • Creating and maintaining school policies.
    • Ensuring that teachers have access to important educational resources.
    • Overseeing the process of recruitment within the school.
    • Developing and maintaining an organised, rewarding and positive teaching and learning environment.
    • Ensuring every member of the school community work in line with the school's vision.
    •  Keep up to date with new educational innovations and technologies.
    • Ensure prompt and adequate communication to parents, teaching staff, non teaching staff, pupils and the management team.
    • Resolving major behavioural issues with students.
    • Working with the policies and other emergency services to ensure the safety of everyone within the school.
    • Improving standards and working towards coninuous academic excellence.
    • Preparing and sending a monthly report to the board of director.

    Qualification

    • BEd, MEd, PGDE
    • Registration with The Teachers' Registration Cancel of Nigeria (TRCN) is an added advanage.

    Proximity to Egbeda is important.
