Our client, a fast-growing Finance House is seeking to fill the role of Head, Risk & Compliance.

The role is primarily responsible for the design, development and implementation of the risk management strategy and compliance functions of the organisation.

Job Description:

• Oversees and leads in the implementation of a Compliance Framework for the organisation.
• Oversees and leads in the implementation of a Risk Management Framework and ensures risk identification, assessment, processes and tools are effective, comprehensive and consistently applied.
• Provides guidance on proper application and interpretation of regulations and policies applicable to the business.
• Coordinates business and regulatory specific compliance reviews, routine checks and approvals
• Provides risk advisory and mitigation strategies in new products or new business ventures/ relationships.
• Develops and review risk management policies & governance and guides the business teams in their application.
• Person Specification:

• 8-10 years cognate experience in the financial services sector.
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance or related disciplines from any recognized institution.
• Membership of a relevant professional body is required.
• An MBA will be an added advantage.
