Head, Risk and Compliance at Halogen Group

• The role will work closely with senior leadership and business heads to identify and mitigate business risks, strengthen internal controls and governance, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements, and provide assurance that business processes support the organisation’s operational and financial objectives.
• The successful candidate will also lead the Risk & Compliance team, drive a strong culture of compliance and accountability, engage with regulators and external assurance bodies, and provide strategic risk and compliance advice to support business growth and sustainability.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in risk management, internal control and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, CFE, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing risk and control frameworks.
• Experience in compliance, audit, internal controls, investigations and regulatory engagement.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial awareness, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience in IT systems audit and risk management is desirable.
• MBA or relevant Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Applicants must currently reside in Lagos.
