Head, Research & Business Advisory at Integrated Corporate Services - ICSL

I am currently sourcing for a Head, Research & Business Advisory for my client.

Reports to: Executive Director/COO

Working Hours: 08:00 am- 05:00pm (Mondays to Fridays)

Salary: N 9 Million gross per annum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & CRITICAL COMPETENCIES:

• Champion the sourcing and execution of business advisory deals, focusing on small, medium and large enterprises
• Establishing relationships with both local and foreign partners/financiers for deals identified for execution
• Preparing business and financial research covering the various sectors of the Nigerian economy as well as the global markets
• Identifying opportunities in the business environment through research and market sensing
• Providing leadership and focus to the Research and Business Advisory team
• Preparation of business/financial valuation models, due diligence analysis, marketing pitchbooks and other materials relating to a deal
• Drafting marketing documents such as Confidential Information Memorandum for financing and/or sell-side assignments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in the financial services industry, more importantly in an equity or capital market advisory facing role.
• A good knowledge of the Corporate Finance (debt, equity and alternatives) and ability to apply your skills creatively to diverse client needs.
• Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytic skills; and the ability to talk through deals comprehensively.
• A proven track record of facilitating and/or participating actively in capital raising deals either via equity or debt.
• Experience in preparing financial models, and interpreting same for valuation purposes.
• Strong ability to communicate (written and oral) effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
