Job Overview

• The Head of Treasury will be in charge of deposits mobilization and funds management for the Bank, develops funding strategies and sets out procedures for forecasting, budgeting, investment and treasury functions.
• With a sound knowledge of financial and investment management strategies, analytical, with strong negotiation and organisation skills also has strategic business partnership experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive in the review of settlements of any financial instruments the organisation uses.
• Drive measures to ensure corporate regulations are followed.
• Establish organisation's cash management strategies.
• Establish plans to ensure efficient use of organisation's cash and ability to raise liquidity.
• Lead cash investment strategies.
• Lead compliance to treasury regulations and guidelines.
• Lead in the use of technology to improve work productivity.
• Lead partnerships with internal functions for treasury initiatives.
• Lead relationship building with financial institutions to support financing needs and other treasury operations.
• Lead the department's financial budgeting processes to acquire funds.
• Oversee organisation's bank accounts and trade lines to ensure steady growth and sufficient capital.
• Oversee reporting of finances.
• Oversee the department's financial budget use against department work plans.
• Plan actions after analysing organisation's financial position to take advantage of potential opportunities.

Qualifications

• B.Sc or HND in relevant disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years on similar job
• Post Graduate degrees and professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
