Job Summary

• We are seeking an exceptional educational leader to serve as the Head of School. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and guidance to the school staff, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the school staff
• Ensure all statutory records are maintained by teachers, including diaries, registers, and lesson notes
• Monitor and report on staff and pupil progress towards achieving the school's goals
• Coordinate, supervise, and write reports on all tests and examinations
• Prepare and ensure adherence to the school's academic timetable
• Monitor attendance and lesson adherence
• Prepare students for academic competitions
• Register students for external examinations
• Establish effective systems for student discipline, behavior management, and pastoral care
• Liaise with external bodies to promote the school's image and programs
• Work closely with heads of department to develop successful academic programs
• Supervise co-curricular and extra-curricular activities
• Coordinate the activities of heads of department
• Perform other duties as assigned for the growth and development of the school

Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Education:

• Minimum of 10 years teaching experience in a primary school setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of primary education curricula, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and management skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of current trends and challenges in primary education
• Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the learning process
