As the Head of Sales, you will primarily be responsible for developing and managing the overall commercial and sales strategic plans for the organization. This includes development and performance of all sales activities, customers acquisition, and expansion, achievement of revenue targets, analyze patterns in consumers and market behavior, as well as developing and leading the sales team to achieve sales targets.
Operational Responsibilities
Develop effective and creative sales strategies and techniques necessary for achieving sales targets
Map out potential customers, partnerships and, generate leads to create new business opportunities for the organisation.
Collaborates with the product team to better understand products and promote these products to existing as well as potential customers.
Initiates and coordinates the development of action plans to acquire new customers and penetrates new markets
Responsible for the operational delivery and budgeting for all aspects of the sales initiatives and programs
Build and promote long-standing relationships and partnerships with customers
Identify emerging markets and market shifts, while staying fully abreast of new entrants, products, and competition status
Understand customer behavior and patterns; analyze trends to aid effective decision making and sales plans
Explore opportunities to form strategic partnerships/alliances with industry players within the financial / fintech space
Maintain a good understanding of local industry trends and conduct regular industry analysis
Manage the sales team and coordinate effectively and efficiently with senior management team and business heads where required
Present sales, revenues, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
Required Competency and Skillset
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 10 years experience in a senior consumer-facing role within the tech/digital ecosystem.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Excellent sales expertise, including strong negotiating and closing skills
Ability to resolve high-level problems and manage processes and stakeholders.
Exceptional relationship management abilities
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment
An all-rounded personality and patience for working in a people-centric job.
