Head of Operations at Boctrust Microfinance Bank

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Head of Operations to oversee our daily banking activities and ensure seamless service delivery. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for optimizing operational workflows, maintaining strict regulatory compliance, and driving the efficiency of our core banking systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end operations of the bank, including account management, funds transfer, clearing, and vault management.
• System Administration: Serve as the primary custodian of the BankOne core banking application, ensuring data integrity, system security, and efficient processing of all financial transactions.
• Policy Implementation: Develop, review, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mitigate operational risks and enhance service quality.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operational activities align with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines and other relevant microfinance regulations.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and exceptional customer service

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in banking operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role specifically within a Microfinance Bank.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in BankOne software is mandatory. Candidates without direct experience using BankOne will not be considered.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
