    Head of Operation

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, plan, and manage day-to-day factory operations including production, inventory, and packaging.
    • Develop and implement efficient systems for procurement, supply chain management, and warehousing.
    • Drive operational KPIs related to cost efficiency, productivity, output quality, and compliance.
    • Supervise and build capacity within operations teams (factory workers, logistics, procurement, etc.).
    • Ensure health, safety, and food hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
    • Manage budgets, production schedules, and performance reporting across operational units.
    • Work closely with Sales, Admin, and Management to align production targets with market demand.
    • Design and implement SOPs to improve efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.
    • Maintain relationships with vendors, regulatory agencies, and logistics partners.
    • Evaluate operational risks and implement controls for continuous improvement and cost containment.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Food Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within FMCG or food production.
    • Strong understanding of factory operations, supply chain management, and quality control.
    • Experience managing cross-functional teams and production workflows.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and manage change.
    • Proficient in inventory software, production planning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of NAFDAC and food safety compliance regulations is essential.
