Head of Internal Audit at Xpress Payment Solutions Limited

About the Job
He/ She must be able to perform the following functions.

• Formulate Internal Audit Policies and maintain regulatory standards.
• Draw up annual, quarterly, monthly audit plan.
• Coordinate the activities of External/Statutory auditors.
• Ensure the existence of adequate controls to manage business risks
• Maintain control checklist and proof charts to ensure the identified control objectives are being met.
• Perform periodic spot checks and audits of the various departments of the company in line with approved audit plan.
• Verify management accounts for accuracy, integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
• Monitor Firm’s regulatory returns for prompt rendition, accuracy and timely submission in compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Assess the effectiveness and irrelevance of existing policies and controls in line with changing business environment.
• To carry out investigation as the need arises

Requirements

• Qualified candidate must be a qualified professional with a minimum of 7 years experience in banking/core e-banking audit.
