Head of Engineering / Maintenance at Reddington Hospital

About the Role

• We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Head of Engineering/Maintenance to lead all technical operations across our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all medical equipment, utilities, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of all medical and non-medical equipment.
• Manage biomedical systems and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise engineering and maintenance teams.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of power, water, HVAC, and medical gas systems.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare budgets, reports, and asset registers.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong knowledge of hospital equipment and facility systems.
• Professional certification is an added advantage.
