    Head, North Public Sector

    Job Summary

    • The Head, North & Public Sector will provide overall leadership, oversight and direction for Halogen’s business across the North Region and Public Sector, driving and optimizing performance in line with overarching strategic objectives including market and revenue expansion, profitability, operational and service excellence etc.
    • The jobholder will chart a growth course; build and lead the region towards the achievement of growth objectives; optimize talent and resources; engage and manage strategic stakeholders for best business outcomes.
    • The job holder will also lead public sector engagement, proactively source and pursue business opportunities in the public sector and related segments in collaboration with other business leaders.

    Key Accountabilities

    Strategy & Planning:

    • Lead the development of strategies, plans and budgets for the delivery of regional and public sector mandates in line with the Group’s strategic plans.
    • Drive strategy execution for strong business performance.
    • Identify and explore opportunities for growth and business expansion in the regions and public sector.

    Business Development & Management:

    • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for business development and drive market leadership. Drive business growth across key performance indicators including revenue, profitability, customer acquisition etc. Champion public sector engagement and business expansion.

    Operational Leadership:

    • Drive operational excellence across operations and service delivery; champion optimal use of resources; oversee and ensure compliance with contractual agreements, standard operating procedures, applicable regulatory and industry requirements, ethical business practices and ISO requirements.

    Networking, Client & Stakeholder Management:

    • Build strategic relationships, partnerships and alliances to facilitate the attainment of business goals and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
    • Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders for best business outcomes.
    • Develop and maintain strategic, value-adding relationships across a broad sphere of influence.
    • Attend strategic events and represent the Group as a partner of choice.
    • Team Leadership & Management: Provide direction and leadership to foster shared understanding of the business mandate, goal alignment and high performance. Facilitate development. Coach and mentor.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field. MBA or related Master’s degree, and relevantprofessional certification would be added advantage.
    • Minimum of fifteen years’ business development and management experience with at least five years in senior management capacity.
    • Strong track record delivering compelling business results and revenue targets; driving business growth and expansion; and leading sales and business development teams for high performance
    • Good network of high potential relationships for strategic access and influence
    • Experience in technology sales would be added advantage
    • Visionary; results-oriented; inspiring; digital savvy; sound communication, collaboration and relationship management skills.
