Head, Legal Unit at Parkway Microfinance Bank Limited

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare Legal Opinions and advice on General legal issues.
• Provide Legal advisory and interpretation services on various aspects of existing lawand regulatory requirements.
• Provide advice on contentious and non contentious matters affecting the Bank.
• Ensure representation and participation on litigation and ensure follow-up as it affects the Bank.
• Follow-up on contracted external lawyers to procure legal opinions, services, interpretations and consultations.
• Review, investigate (searches) and authenticate securities offered as collateral for credit.
• Prepare, review and advice on MOUS, SLAs and all forms of contractual agreements between the bank and other parties.
• Supervision of registration and custody of credits securities property titles and legal documents.
• Preparation for Board meeting documentation and sundry tasks.
• General administration of the Bank's secretariat.

Requirements

• LL.B, BL qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years work experience.
• Must possess leadership skills.
• Creative and innovative.
