    Head, Casa Business Segment

    Job Summary

    • The Head, CASA (Current Account/Savings Account) Business Segment will lead efforts to drive low-cost deposit mobilization, digital banking adoption, and customer acquisition.
    • This role involves designing strategies to expand CASA balances, onboard new customers, and increase usage of digital channels while optimizing transaction flows to enhance liquidity and profitability.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and lead a high-performing team to drive strategic initiatives aimed at achieving N200B in new deposits and onboarding 2 million new customers.
    • Increase active CASA account ratio to 30% and drive 100% digital transaction adoption among CASA users.
    • Ensure that 90% of CASA customers use at least one additional product.
    • Collaborate with product, digital, and marketing teams to enhance user experience and deepen customer engagement.
    • Design campaigns and partnerships to attract and retain CASA customers, particularly in underbanked and digital-first segments.
    • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics regularly, adjusting strategies to maximize outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements in all CASA-related operations.

    Key Performance Indicators

    • CASA deposit growth and number of accounts opened.
    • Percentage of active accounts and digital banking transaction adoption.
    • CASA-to-product cross-sell ratio.
    • Customer acquisition, retention, and engagement levels.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience in retail banking or deposits mobilization, with at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
    • Proven expertise in digital banking, customer lifecycle management, and retail strategy execution.
    • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a results-driven approach.
