    Head, Business Development for Data Solutions

    Job Objective:

    • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as the Head of Business Development for our Data Solutions.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our business development & sales team, developing and implementing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth through the sale of our innovative Data Solutions.
    • The Head of Business Development will play a key role in shaping the company's sales strategy, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop the sales plan. Prepare forecasts and KPI reporting for the sales and Business Development team for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning.
    • Provide visionary leadership to the Business Development and sales team, setting clear goals and expectations.
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team.
    • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Work closely with the executive team to develop and refine the company's sales strategy.
    • Identify market trends, competitive threats, and opportunities for growth.
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
    • Collaborate with the pre-sales and technical teams to ensure alignment between client needs and proposed IT solutions.
    • Lead business development initiatives to expand the company's client base.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT solutions market.
    • Implement best practices for sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
    • Develop and execute strategies to upsell and cross-sell IT solutions to existing clients.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
    • Use market intelligence to adjust sales strategies and tactics accordingly.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and customer- centric approach.
    • Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships that enhance the company's digital offerings.
    • Develop pricing strategies and models for digital products or services.
    • Present the company's digital products/services to potential clients and partners.
    • Work closely with branch liaison officers to increase cross-sell services and products.

    SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
    • Proven track record of success in IT solutions sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role.
    • Strong understanding of the IT solutions market, technologies, and trends
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
    • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
