Job Summary

On behalf of our client, a leading Oil & Gas company, we are recruiting for the role of Group Managing Director. The Group Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic direction, fostering growth across all divisions, and ensuring operational excellence. This role demands strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of the market landscape, and the ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Group's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and vision.
• Oversee the management of all laws and regulations impacting the business, ensuring compliance and risk management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business growth opportunities.
• Drive profitability and financial performance across all business areas, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration among employees.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adapting the group’s strategy accordingly.
• Report to the Board of Directors on organizational performance and progress towards strategic goals.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field;
• A minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role
• Proven track record of managing large, complex organizations
• Strong financial acumen, with sound knowledge of financial management and profitability analysis;
• Experience in leading strategic initiatives and driving organizational change;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to inspire and engage a diverse workforce, fostering a culture of high performance.
