Job Summary

Job Opportunity: Group Finance Manager Location: Abuja Norrenberger Financial Group is seeking to hire a Group Finance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing financial performance measurement, risk management, compliance, subsidiary financial reviews, and corporate financing across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze subsidiary financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports while conducting variance analysis and performance monitoring.
• Lead corporate finance initiatives, including debt structuring, funding, and financial model development, while optimizing the group’s structure for tax efficiency and financial performance.
• Oversee the group-wide budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and implementing cost control measures to drive efficiency.
• Conduct financial risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with financial policies across subsidiaries, and update policies in line with regulatory changes.
• Manage the transfer pricing filing process, monitor intercompany tax policies, ensure transfer pricing compliance, and minimize non-compliance risks and financial penalties.
• Ensure proper management and storage of financial documents in the finance drive while maintaining accurate financial records for auditing and compliance purposes.

 Qualifications:

Educational Qualifications/Training

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, ICAN, CPA) is highly desirable.
• A Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline is an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• 7-10 years of experience in financial management or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of executing financial strategies.
• Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and capital markets.
• Proficiency in financial tools such as Power BI, Excel, SAP, and other financial modeling software.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
