Job Description

Our client is an NGO that provides various online and on-ground group study and funding for less privileged women and talented individuals. They are seeking a Programs Partnership and Grant Writing Officer to lead the grant application process and develop and maintain relationships with current and potential funders and partners.

Responsibilities

• Grants sourcing and developing a strategy for engaging clients, donors, and strategic partners, supervising program officers, developing quarterly reports, and suggesting new ways to maintain partnerships with funders/donors/strategic partners.
• Raise funds through third-party apps (crowdfunding websites).

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's degree
• This role requires a background in the NPO/NGO/CSO space.
• At least four years of experience in grant writing, program development, and donor engagement.
• Have excellent writing skills, the ability to create branded collateral, experience in program development and execution, and be a proactive, strategic, and creative thinker.
• Be proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, and other software.
• Must possess exceptional writing skills, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and consistently produce error-free content.
• Have the capacity to create branded collateral such as slides, videos, documents, and photos aimed at securing partnerships with donors, funders, and sponsors.
• Have prior experience in program development and execution, as well as a background in the civil society sector, international development, and social impact.
• Demonstrate proactive, strategic, and creative thinking, be a team player who is willing to learn and collaborate and have proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, and other relevant software.
• Have a keen interest in women’s rights, LGBTQ, and gender equality issues, as well as the ability to lead, motivate, and provide direction to others.
• Knowledge of online, digital, and content marketing is essential.
