    Grant Specialist

    Job Description:

    • Welcome2Africa International is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grant Specialist to join our team.
    • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in securing grants, managing funding opportunities, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with the organization's objectives.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with grant-making organizations, donors, and partners.
    • Prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals, ensuring compliance with all application requirements.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to gather relevant information and data for grant applications.
    • Monitor and track grant progress, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
    • Collaborate with program managers to ensure effective implementation of funded projects.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, funding opportunities, and best practices in grant management.
    • Provide support in preparing reports and documentation for donors and stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, International Development, etc.).
    • Proven experience in grant writing and management, preferably in the international development sector.
    • Strong research and analytical skills to identify funding opportunities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Familiarity with donor relations, fundraising strategies, and grant compliance.
    • Passion for sustainable development and a commitment to the organization's mission.
