Graduate Trainee (Mechanical Engineering) at Sany Nigeria

Role Overview:

• The Graduate Trainee will join our intensive 12-month training program designed to provide hands-on experience and foundational knowledge in the maintenance, diagnostics, and operation of SANY's heavy machinery.
• This role is ideal for driven, ambitious, and hands-on mechanical engineering graduates who are eager to kickstart a rewarding career in the heavy equipment industry.
• The successful candidate will work closely with experienced SANY engineers, gaining both theoretical and practical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in intensive theoretical and practical training sessions on SANY products, including Excavators, Graders, Rollers, and Articulated Dump Trucks (ADTs).
• Shadow and assist senior engineers on client project sites, observing and learning about equipment installation, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting.
• Get hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs at SANY maintenance workshops.
• Learn about the mechanical structure, electronic circuits, and hydraulic systems of SANY equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures on-site and in the workshop.
• Document and report on technical findings and progress during training.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
• 0-2 years of post-NYSC work experience.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical principles, hydraulics, and basic electronics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn and a proactive, can-do attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
