Graduate Procurement Officer at Neveah Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and well-spoken Graduate Procurement Officer to support our aluminum scrap procurement operations in Onitsha.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers while supporting sales and marketing activities to ensure steady supply and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure aluminum scrap from approved and new suppliers.
• Identify and develop new supplier relationships within Onitsha and surrounding areas.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to monitor price trends and availability of materials.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely supply.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and reports.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to expand supplier and buyer networks.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ethical standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues.
• Participate in inventory planning and stock management activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Procurement, or related discipline.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in procurement, sales, or marketing (preferably in scrap, recycling, or related industries).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Well-spoken, confident, and professional in dealings with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of the Onitsha scrap market and business environment is an added advantage.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, email, reporting tools).
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
