Job Summary

• IDMANN Institute is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Government Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in civic education, political systems, and governance.
• The ideal candidate will help students understand governmental structures, civic responsibilities, and prepare them for internal and external examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Government in line with the approved curriculum.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans.
• Educate students on political systems, civic responsibilities, and public administration.
• Assess and evaluate students’ academic performance.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Maintain accurate student records and reports.
• Promote critical thinking and informed citizenship.
• Maintain a disciplined and engaging classroom environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc / B.Ed) in Political Science, Government, Public Administration or a related field.
• 2–3 years teaching experience (preferred).
• Strong subject knowledge in Government and civic education.
• Good classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for teaching and student development.

Added Advantage:

• TRCN registration.
• Experience preparing students for WAEC / NECO examinations.
• Familiarity with current political and civic issues.
