Your Mission
Launch and scale a GTM engine that acquires active business users in record time, drives revenue growth, and positions straitPay as the trusted solution for Nigerian SMEs making international payments.
What success looks like
- Active business users acquired in record time (metrics to be discussed during interviews).
- Strong, measurable channel performance (content, paid, referrals, outbound, etc.).
- Clear product-market fit and scalable conversion processes.
- Consistent revenue and transaction volume growth month over month.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and lead the GTM strategy.
- Own commercial KPIs — including acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Oversee multi-channel user acquisition efforts.
- Lead messaging, positioning, and brand communication.
- Build partnerships that drive distribution and brand trust.
- Manage GTM budget and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Ops to align the roadmap with market feedback.
- Report on performance to the leadership team and investors.
What you\'ll bring to the table
- 5–7 years in growth, sales, or marketing roles (bonus if in Fintech or SaaS).
- A deep understanding of Nigerian SMEs and what moves them.
- Proven ability to generate and convert leads in cost-effective ways.
- Strong ownership mindset and bias for action.
- Excellent communicator — written, visual, and verbal.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in a VC-backed startup or high-growth company.
- Familiarity with payments, FX, or B2B financial services.
- Existing network in the Nigerian SME ecosystem.
- Light experience in product marketing or user onboarding flows.

Hours & Location
- Full-time, 40 hours/week.
