    Geologist

In this role, you will provide geosciences support for Neconde OML-42 assets (fields and reservoirs) by providing up-to date reservoir descriptions, supporting quality estimates of hydrocarbon volumes and reserves, and participating in field development activities, exploration, and production optimization activities.

As a Geologist you will be responsible for:

    • Interpreting seismic data to enable mapping of exploration opportunities and remapping of mature fields/reservoirs.
    • Maintaining up-to-date structural and stratigraphic description of reservoirs including regional descriptions of reservoir systems.
    • Developing a solid understanding of depositional environments and fault frameworks of fields and reservoirs.
    • Maintaining up-to-date structural maps and reservoir property maps of assigned fields and reservoirs. Ensure that maps incorporate all available information, and that uncertainties in maps and estimates of original and remaining hydrocarbon in-place volumes are understood.
    • Characterizing reservoirs and build geologic models for reservoir simulation using up to date tools and best practices.
    • Participating in decision making during drilling and workover activities.
    • Routine provision of geological insight into well and reservoir challenges towards resolving problems.
