Job Description
As a Generator Operator, your primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of generators within our facility. You'll be tasked with monitoring generator performance, conducting routine inspections, and performing minor repairs as necessary to ensure continuous power supply. Your role also involves adhering to safety protocols and reporting any issues or malfunctions promptly to the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate generators to provide backup power during outages or as needed.
• Monitor generator performance and ensure they operate within specified parameters.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and battery checks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
• Report any abnormalities, malfunctions, or safety hazards to the maintenance team.
• Assist in coordinating maintenance schedules and service contracts with external vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating and maintaining generators preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and mechanics.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
