We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager to direct and manage our organization's business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies and programs.
Duties for the General Manager will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.
Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions will assist our organization in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, increasing staff productivity, improving service, ensuring sustainability, and meeting business objectives.
Overseeing daily business operations.
Developing and implementing growth strategies.
Manages product from end-end.
Evaluating performance and productivity.
Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
Generating reports and giving presentations.
Direct Report: Exec / Partner-in-Charge of the SBU. Chief Business Officer
Indirectly Report: Other Execs & Partners as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Business Management or Masters in Business Administration.
6 to 8 Years General Business Management & Sales Experience (with verifiable records are required). actual sales leads generated and completed not client relationships managed.
Experience in Tech & FinTech industries.
Good knowledge of different business functions.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Skills and Competencies:
The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions such as
Corporate Governance & Business Management.
Build, Tech, Product, Engineering from the SBU Business Owner Standpoint.
Growth in Sales, Marketing, Users, Revenue etc.
Study, Understand, Review, Improve and achieve our OKRs for the respective business.
Overall business and people operations needs for the business. Manage all internal and external team (from tech to sales to finance, All) and external clients / business operations of the SBU.
Work with the finance team to oversee all financial concerns of the business. Plan budget, ensure efficient execution. Work with the executive in charge to engage funding is secured, costs are covered (eliminated or reduced where possible), profit is secured for their SBU.
