• As a result of the need for expansion in its operations, has been engaged by the Company to identify a proactive, skilled, experienced, self-driven individual to manage the Company.
• This individual must be a team player, high-achiever and exceptional professional with the requisite qualifications and track record.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates the work of the various Divisions
• Develops and manages the annual approved budget for the Company
• Provides technical and managerial direction and support
• Ensures the Compilation of records, operating data, Documents and results of laboratory analyses
• Act as Chief Marketing Officer
• Ensures that all KPIs are met

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• A University Degree in Laboratory Science, Biochemistry or a related field with a minimum of second-class division (or equivalent).
• A postgraduate degree and/or professional qualification will be a distinct advantage
• A minimum of 10 years cognate experience at a senior technical level in a modern Diagnostic Laboratory
• Ability to communicate effectively with accrediting, licensing and regulatory bodies
• Ability to interpret and correlate medical laboratory data
• Ability to define, implement and monitor accepted standards of performance in quantity control quality assurance and cost-effectiveness of the laboratory service
• Ability to develop and/or review technical reports
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good MS Office skills
