General Ledger Accounting Manager at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced General Ledger Accounting Manager to oversee and manage all activities related to the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closings, and financial reporting.
• The ideal candidate is ICAN-certified with 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience and a deep understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.

Key Task

• GL accounting ensuring the accuracy of accounting in general ledger accounts and timely closer of postings
• GL balances reconciliation and preparation of monthly GL reports and balances.
• GL open item management and clearing.
• Conducting periodical review of Debtors with sales team
• Asset accounting and ensuring the compliance with the company policies and procedures
• Preparation of asset register and tracking with budgets.
• Handling company insurance profile and participation in the risk mitigation strategies.
• Assisting Sr Finance manager in discharging day to day accounts operations.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of process improvements with in the finance function.
