Job Summary

• Harvest Feeds and Agro Processing Ltd is seeking a competent and reliable Gas Generator Operator to oversee the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of gas-powered generators. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted power supply while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gas generators to ensure continuous power supply
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance checks
• Monitor generator performance and report any faults or abnormalities
• Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Coordinate with the maintenance team during repairs and servicing
• Keep the generator area clean and organized

Requirements

• Minimum of OND, Trade Test, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
• 1–3 years of experience operating gas generators or similar equipment
• Basic knowledge of generator maintenance and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills

Added Advantage

• Experience in a manufacturing or processing environment
• Technical certification related to power generation or mechanical operations
• Knowledge of gas engine systems and auxiliary equipment
