    Furniture Production Manager (Architect)

    We are looking for an experienced Furniture Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of furniture. You will be ultimately responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling furniture production to ensure that products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard.

    We expect you to have deep know-how in Furniture production procedures. If you are up to it, we would like to talk to you.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Ensure profit maximization on all production
    • Check all procured materials for quality
    • Generate production drawings for production works
    • Create a cutting list for the operator
    • Ensure the company generates enough profit as a business unit
    • Create a timeline and all production timelines are meant
    • Create material requisition on all production work
    • Ensure board processing records are updated daily
    • Take and keep adequate records of the board brought in by the client and production Team
    • Interpretation of design and cutting list to installers
    • Schedule daily & weekly production work plans to meet up production timeline
    • Advise on daily work schedule and timeline for the technicians
    • Carry out second-level Q.C. on material purchase.
    • Visit the Site to reconfirm the dimensions of all projects
    • Attend client meetings and relate it to all production team
    • Supervise machine operator and installer on the production floor to ensure quality, perfect finishing, and adherence to dimensions and Design at all times.
    • Identity training gap and recommend training needed for technicians
    • Monitor and reduce wastage on all production levels.
    • Create product designs

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent organizational skills for managing tasks, coordinating resources, and ensuring smooth operations within the organization
    • Strong leadership skills to motivate teams, make decisions, and also guide the organization toward operational goals.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze complex situations, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
    • Effective verbal and written communication to convey information, collaborate with teams, and also interact with stakeholders.
    • The ability to think analytically for interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.
    • Understanding financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting skills for managing resources efficiently and making informed decisions to achieve financial targets.
    • Being capable of adjusting strategies or processes in response to dynamic business environments and unexpected changes.
    • Having a keen eye for detail to identify potential operational inefficiencies, mitigate risks, and maintain quality standards.
    • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
    • A mindset focused on continuous improvement involves constantly seeking ways to enhance operational processes and outcomes

     Education/Experience:

    • 3-to 4 years of relevant experience in furniture manufacturing with project management skills is a must.
    • OND/HND/Degree in woodworking, Architecture, or any other related discipline
    • Knowledge of business, finance, or management principles would be a plus
    • Knowledge of raw materials quality systems and standards
    • Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
    • Knowledge of machines and tools would be an advantage
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP software will be preferred
