Full Stack Mobile Engineer at Advantage Health Africa

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile applications.
• Build and manage APIs using NestJS with PostgreSQL as the database.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with containerized deployments.
• Integrate caching strategies for performance optimization.
• Ensure API security and follow best practices in authentication and data protection.
• Work with AI systems integration where required.
• Develop and maintain design systems for consistent UI/UX.
• Implement testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Optimize app performance across multiple platforms.
• Utilize WebSockets (WS) and Server-Sent Events (SSE) for real-time features.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s is an added advantage).
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Mobile Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of NestJS, PostgreSQL, and modern mobile frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and containerization (e.g., Docker).
• Familiarity with AI systems integration.
• Solid understanding of caching, design systems, and performance optimization.
• Good knowledge of API security and testing frameworks.
• Experience with real-time communication tools (WS, SSE).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
