Full Stack Engineer at Syx Labs

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
• Build responsive and user-friendly UI components.
• Develop RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Work with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug applications in development and production.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Experience working in agile development teams.
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and DevOps principles.
• Proficiency in front-end languages/frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET.
• Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
