Full Stack Developer at Hayok Medicare Limited

Hayok Medicare Limited is a health care organisation based in Abuja focused on developing and implementing innovative solutions to address various developmental challenges in Nigeria. Hayok Medicare Limited is made up of a group of respectable professionals with over 10 years of diverse experience in service delivery, resource mobilization, ICT for Health, private public partnership as well as private sector engagement. We are currently supporting several state and federal organisations in the development and deployment of ICT solutions within the health insurance, health service and health facility regulatory space and seek to expand our team to enable us continue to deliver quality services to our clients. We are seeking experienced, talented and innovative persons to join our team as Full stack web developers.   

Specific Responsibilities

Under the direct supervision of the ICT coordinator, the Web developer will be embedded in organisations and write codes to improve or existing software systems and work on new projects.

The Web developer is expected to perform the following tasks:

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• •Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or its equivalent.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Vue.js.
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as PHP, Python and Node.js.
• Knowledge of backend framework such as Laravel, Django is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Proficiency with Laravel framework.
• Proficiency in hybrid mobile application development.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.

Qualifications and Experience

• Not less than 2 years post NYSC.
• BSC/HND in ICT or engineering related field.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
• Proficiency in Javascript and PHP.
• Skill in Laravel, Vue.js and other Model View Controller (MVC) frameworks is an added advantage.
