Full-Stack Developer at FareRun

Responsibilities:

Rideshare Application Development:

• Lead the design and development of features for our rideshare platform, ensuring a seamless experience for both riders and drivers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new functionalities that enhance the overall user experience.

Front-End and Back-End Development:

• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Implement robust and scalable back-end logic using languages like Node.js, Python, or Ruby.

Geolocation and Mapping:

• Integrate geolocation services and mapping APIs to optimize route planning and real-time tracking within the rideshare application.

Payment Integration:

• Implement secure and efficient payment processing systems, integrating with third-party payment gateways to facilitate seamless transactions.

Data Security and Privacy:

• Implement security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of user data, complying with industry standards and regulations.

Performance Optimization:

• Conduct performance analysis and optimization to ensure the rideshare application operates efficiently under various conditions.

Collaboration with Product Team:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a focus on rideshare or similar applications.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern front-end frameworks.
• Solid experience with back-end technologies and frameworks (Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails).
• Familiarity with geolocation services, mapping APIs, and real-time tracking.
• Experience with payment gateway integrations and secure payment processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
