We’re looking for a skilled Frontend Engineer with strong experience in React (Next.js) to help us build seamless, high-performing web experiences for our users. If you’re passionate about elegant code, clean design systems, and intuitive user interfaces, we’d love to meet you.
Job Expectations
Architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React (Next.js).
Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code following modern frontend best practices.
Implement pixel-perfect UIs based on design specifications from Figma or similar tools.
Create smooth transitions, micro-interactions, and animations that enhance user experience.
Integrate APIs and work closely with backend engineers to deliver complete, reliable features.
Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices and browsers.
Maintain component libraries and design systems for consistency across products.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
Manage time effectively and thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Critical Competencies
3+ years of hands-on experience building production-ready React applications.
Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (Sass/Tailwind).
Experience with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar).
Familiarity with API integration, version control (Git), and CI/CD workflows.
Strong grasp of web performance optimization and accessibility (WCAG) principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you’re a team player who cares about results.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Bonus Points
Experience working on crypto, blockchain, or fintech applications.
Familiarity with web security, payment integrations, or African fintech ecosystems.
Contributions to open-source or active engagement with the frontend community.
