Front-end Developer at Summitech

Requirements

• First Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline
• Have a minimum of 3 years of continuous experience as a Front-end developer.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.

Candidate Must Have:

• Understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and React
• Good understanding of React Native
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
• Good understanding of Rest APIs
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Develop new user-facing features
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
• Knowledge of some SEO principles.
