Front Desk Officer at Prestigious Consulting Group

Responsibilities

• Meeting & greeting patients
• Answering and transferring phone calls
• Scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling appointments
• Registering patients
• Preparing patients charts
• Accommodating various files and providing general office duties, e.g. data entry, faxing, scanning, etc.
• Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner
• Making appointments, collecting co-pays, and providing receipt of money by established procedures
• Addressing patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Providing support in the management of patient medical records

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working in a hospital, clinic, or doctor's office
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills (Oral and written)
• Knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
• Incoming phone call management skills required
• Knowledgeable of medical terminology and insurance products and plans
• Candidate must live in Lekki or its environs
