French Speaking Accountant at Ascentech Services Limited

Position Overview

• Our client is seeking a skilled and dynamic French-speaking Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and overseeing accounting functions, ensuring financial integrity, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting duties including bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
• Work closely with senior management to assess financial risks and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with French-speaking stakeholders and clients, ensuring smooth coordination and clarity in financial matters.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements, audits, and tax filings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different regions to provide financial support and insights.
• Manage the budgeting process and oversee financial controls within the organization.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related field (5+ years preferred).
• Fluent in French (both spoken and written) with the ability to engage effectively with French-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards and practices.
• Experience in managing accounting systems, financial statements, and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel/relocate to other African countries as required by the business.
• Ability to speak French is a must.

Salary
N350,000 Monthly net (Negotiable).
