Job Summary

• The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating industrial forklifts to move, locate, relocate, and stack goods safely and efficiently.
• The role involves ensuring the accurate transportation of materials within the warehouse, production facility, or loading areas while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport goods within the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and storage areas safely and efficiently.
• Ensure materials are stacked and stored properly to prevent damage or hazards.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure proper functionality.
• Keep accurate records of materials moved and report any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of an SSCE / OND or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in material handling.
• Ability to operate different types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack).
• Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts as required.
