    Floor Supervisor

    Location: Lekki, Lagos
    Reports to: Restaurant Manager

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Arranging and organizing the rota for all floor staff by anticipated business activity and planning adequate cover for absence to ensure the smooth running of business operations (subject to approval by the HR officer).
    • Assign duties, responsibilities, and work stations to team members in accordance with work requirements to ensure the smooth running of business operations.
    • Adequate planning and co-ordination of team members to ensure and that all orders are completed in a timely manner to meet our “customer waiting time standards”.
    • Resolving or escalating customer complaints to the Business manager when they arise.
    • Minimize wastage and reduce costs by ensuring the efficient use of resources (e.g. packaging, stationery, disposables, etc).
    • Responsible for ensuring appropriate portion control.
    • Improve company performance by driving and increasing sales.
    • Ensure that ALL products displayed or served comply with the restaurant quality standards.
    • Reporting any faulty or damaged equipment, furniture or fittings to the facilities officer.
    • Ensure that all serving utensils and crockery are properly stored, looked after and maintained.
    • Reporting all faults relating to the POS system to the internal auditor.
    • Continuous training of team members in portion control and product knowledge.
    • Responsible for the implementation of “floor opening and closing procedures”.
    • Ensure the compliance of all staff with the “Team members operations manual”
    • Ensure team member compliance with the “Employee polices & code of conduct”.
    • Responsible for reporting ALL non-compliance of company standards or policies to the HR officer.
    • Responsible for reporting ALL customer complaints and feedback to the business manager.
    • Report any operational issues to the business manager.
    • Requisition supplies needed to ensure quality and timely delivery of services.
    • Ensuring that the restaurant floor and toilets are maintained in strict accordance with the “restaurant’s sanitation standards”.
    • Must lead by example and ensure complete customer satisfaction by providing five star level of customer service to all customers.
    • Responsible for the supervision of the day to day operations of the restaurant floor (in the absence of the floor manager).

    Requirements

    • Possess at the minimum OND certificate or equivalent.
    • Must have at least 4 years experience in a customer service role.
    • At least 2 years experience in a restaurant chain (preferably a global brand) in a supervisory role.
    • Must be able to write, read and communicate in English fluently.
    • Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • The ability to work and keep calm under pressure
    • Energy and Stamina
    • Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
    • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

    Remuneration
    N50,000 - N60,000 Monthly.
