    Flight Co-Assistant

    Main Purpose

    • Assists the flight coordinator with the multiple tasks required to prepare, monitor, and consolidate the MSF flights, contributing to the efficiency of the flight operation.
    • It requires systematic inter-action with other interlocutors, such as airport authorities and other humanitarian air operators in the country.

    Job Description

    • Booking of all MSF passengers in MSF internal booking system.
    • Prepare flight schedules to different airports in the country in accordance with aviation rules and safety.
    • Maintains and develops contacts at national level with authorities, airport representative and other humanitarian operators Ensures that necessary authorization and flight clearances are obtain in timely manner if aircraft needs to fly back to base for overhaul
    • Consolidate and process all aviation invoices to finance for payment (fuel, handling, navigation charges)
    • Control and filing of all post flight documents
    • Ensure that all sites are informed of about the progress of aircraft once at airborne
    • Coordinates with logistics at different airports to pick up and transport passengers their locations
    • Assist the flight coordinator in arranging meetings with authorities

    Requirements

    Educational Qualification:

    • Essential: University Degree
    • Desirable: Solid background in aviation, preferably in flight operations or in ground handling

    Experience:

    • Previous experience in related role

    Language

    • Essential: Fluency in English
    • Desirable: Knowledge of aviation technical terminologies.

    Computer Knowledge:

    Remuneration
    According to MSF Salary Scale (level 6) plus 13th month allowance equivalent to 1 month of gross salary
