Fleet Supervisor at SGX Mobility

• A Fleet Supervisor in an EV company is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of the electric vehicle fleet. This includes vehicle scheduling, maintenance coordination, driver supervision, and ensuring optimal fleet utilization in line with company goals and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Operations Management

• Coordinate the daily dispatch and routing of electric vehicles for deliveries, service calls, or internal transport.
• Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, and efficiency to ensure maximum productivity.
• Assign and supervise drivers/operators, ensuring adherence to schedules and service targets.

Maintenance & Repairs

• Schedule routine maintenance and manage unexpected repairs in coordination with technicians.
• Ensure all EVs are charged, clean, roadworthy, and compliant with regulations.
• Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and warranty documentation.

Vehicle Charging & Energy Monitoring

• Monitor charging schedules and battery performance to minimize downtime.
• Work with the energy management team to ensure optimal charging patterns and energy cost efficiency.

Driver Supervision & Training

• Supervise fleet drivers, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Organize regular training on EV-specific driving practices, eco-driving, and charging protocols.

Data Reporting & Fleet Analytics

• Use telematics and fleet management systems to track vehicle health, location, usage, and efficiency.
• Generate reports on fleet performance metrics (e.g., mileage, downtime, energy consumption).
• Provide insights for route optimization, cost reduction, and improved service delivery.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure fleet operations comply with local transport laws and EV regulations.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and enforce safety protocols for both drivers and vehicles.

Procurement & Asset Management

• Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams on new vehicle acquisitions and disposals.
• Track fleet inventory, licenses, insurance, and registration status.

Sustainability & Efficiency Initiatives

• Recommend eco-friendly practices and technologies to improve fleet sustainability.
• Support the company’s green mission by reducing emissions and improving fleet energy efficiency.

Stakeholders Relationship Management

• Have a good relationship with FRSC, LASTMA, VIO, MOT and Police to be able to influence their decision when our drivers are caught disobeying the laws.
• Must have good knowledge of road laws and regulations and must be ready to support in training the drivers when the need arises.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of electric vehicle operations and maintenance.
• Experience with fleet management software and telematics tools.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with energy consumption data, charging infrastructure, and sustainability practices.
