We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fleet/Logistics Officer to oversee day-to-day transportation and logistics operations in Onitsha, Anambra State. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to ensuring the smooth movement of people, goods, and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor all fleet and logistics activities to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Ensure documentation of all company vehicles and drivers.
Schedule and dispatch vehicles and drivers for timely deliveries and pickups
Track and monitor vehicle movement using GPS or fleet management tools
Manage fuel usage, trip records, and driver performance
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies
Collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for seamless logistics operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Previous experience in a fleet or logistics role is an added advantage
Strong understanding of route planning, vehicle tracking systems, and transportation regulations
Knowledge of relevant transport regulations and compliance standards
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
